Discussion points will be directed by the KOLs but may cover topics such as what criteria are needed for diagnosing GA, how to adopt an interprofessional care approach, when to refer patients to a retina specialist, how to monitor patients at risk for GA and once they develop GA, when to initiate treatment for GA, strategies for selecting between treatments and for improving patient comfort during treatment, and how to proceed with care when a treatment does not work or stops working (eg, switch to the other complement inhibitor, enroll in a clinical trial).
